Welcome back. Today is another weekly update to the database tracking how democrats are capitulating to fascists taking over the United States. Added this week are the votes for Rollins (Agriculture Secretary), RFK Jr. (Health and Human Services Secretary) and Gabbard (Director of National Intelligence) to the xls spreadsheet linked here.
Additionally, I thought it might help to group these senators into three different categories: keepers, potential primaries and definitely primary. Now, you may disagree with me on these groupings for a variety of reasons. Please know that I am not considering what your state is personally facing or going through. I am evaluating this solely based on how they are voting for Trump's cabinet nominees, additional nominees requiring senate approval and any bills that I believe are fundamental to democracy. You may feel that one or two votes for any nominee is a definite primary. Others may not feel the same way.
Essentially, this is simply a tool to help you decide whether to primary your democrat incumbent or support them.
Keepers: Every single democrat senator has voted at least once for a cabinet nominee. These are the Marco Rubio for State Secretary votes.
Mazie Hirono (HI)
Tammy Duckworth (IL)
Ed Markey (MA)
Elizabeth Warren (MA)
Chris Van Hollen (MD)
Jeff Merkley (OR)
Ron Wyden (OR)
Jack Reed (RI)
Potential Primaries: Senate democrats who voted for two to four cabinet members and should be considered for removal. While senators like Adam Schiff (CA) and Jon Ossoff (GA) technically voted for four nominees and should be in this group, they are not because they failed to vote on every nomination. This is not acceptable when our democracy is on the line. DID NOT VOTE counts as a YES vote in my groupings.
Alex Padilla (CA)
Chris Murphy (CT)
Richard Blumenthal (CT)
Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE)

Ben Ray Lujan (NM)
Chuck Schumer (NY)
Sheldon Whitehouse (RI)
Maria Cantwell (WA)
Tammy Baldwin (WI)
Definetely Primary: Demcrat senators who voted five or more times in line with Trump cabinet nominees. These democrats are working to bring fascism to our country. Most align with anti-immigrant brutal policies. To date, there have been sixteen votes.
